Unarmed Security Guard

Responsibilities

• Maintain security of the ship and the implementation of the SSP and Standard Procedures. Responsible for gangway security & access control.Inspect and patrol premises regularlyUndertake security patrols of Restricted, Controlled and Vulnerable areas. Have a well-developed understanding of the operation and management of CCTV recording and monitoring equipment. Monitor surveillance cameras. Compiling statements and reports.Reporting all crimes, incidents and safeguarding matters. Maritime Experience is Advantage.

Qualifications

• Military or police background is a must.
• Basic understanding of the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS). Skills and ability to recognise, understand and deal with potential security threats. Fully qualified with a proven record of competence for the position. An above-average level of fitness and skills in tactful, diplomatic crisis and problem solving. Knowledge of Security Standard Procedures and other Standard Procedures that impact the security.

• Period of employment: contracts 3-4 months. Salary from $2500 a month
