Tanoa Café is hiring a Waiter / Barista to join our team in Bairro Alto, Lisbon.
We are a busy independent brunch café with an international crowd, serving brunch, specialty coffee, fresh juices and comfort food in a colourful, friendly and fast-paced environment.
We are looking for someone who enjoys hospitality, speaks confident English and knows how to move fast while keeping good energy with customers.
This is a daytime café job — no night shifts.
About the candidate
- We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in table service, barista work or hospitality
- Fluent or very comfortable speaking English
- Fast, organised and reliable
- Friendly with customers
- Able to work under pressure during busy brunch service
- Available to work weekends
- Legally allowed to work in Portugal
- Portuguese is a plus, but not mandatory. Other languages are also valued.
