As a frontend engineer, you'll work closely with our team to design and implement a system that empowers campgrounds worldwide, while also improving the guest experience.

The Role
  • Lead our frontend: architecture, DX, and UI quality bar
  • Build new guest booking flows, rich calendars, messaging, payments, analytics
  • Elevate our design system and component library
  • Partner with product/design; set patterns and best practices
  • Mentor engineers; keep the codebase simple, typed, and fast

What you’ll be working on
  • Implementing designs with new components (e.g. modern booking pages for camping, extending calendars with event capabilities, adding helpful UX elements for automated messaging/charging customers)
  • Maintaining and refactoring existing code to support bug fixes for customers
  • Documenting and codifying best practices in our frontend (e.g. file structure)

Qualifications

Full Role Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience as a frontend engineer
  • Expertise in Typescript & React
  • Strong understanding of clean code principles and coding design systems
  • Experience in leading architectural patterns on a web frontend
  • Passion for making a clean, beautiful and engaging user experience
  • Soft skills: ownership, accountability, transparency, and non-violent communication (NVC)
  • Enjoy documenting processes via Slack, GitHub, or Notion
  • Willingness to pair program (using Tuple)
