Cofinpro is an independent management, specialist, and technology consulting firm for Germany's leading banks and asset managers. With our expertise in credit, securities, and payment transactions, we accompany and navigate our clients through the challenges of digitalization, new market demands and regulatory requirements. As technology consultants, we dedicate ourselves to the modernization of IT architectures, the optimization of IT processes and the development of high-performance digital platforms. For our new office in Portugal we are looking for a Backend Developer Java (all genders).

Responsibilities

  • Developing backend components based on Java and Spring Boot
  • Designing business logic components for complex, innovative software solutions in direct customer cooperation in a cloud-native architecture
  • Solving technical and conceptual challenges such as continuous delivery processes and performance optimization
  • Working in a scaled-agile environment (Scum within teams, SAFe-based)

Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in backend development
  • Proven hands on experience with Java and Spring Boot, or JakartaEE/ Microprofile-implementations (Quarkus, Micronaut) and expertise in the development and integration of microservices
  • First experience in cloud-native environments (kubernetes, kafka), unit / integration testing and agile project methods (scrum, DevOps)
  • University degree in computer science or similar and proficiency in multiple aspects of software development
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (C1-Level)
