Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Head Barista to lead our coffee team and ensure the highest standards of coffee preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, a strong attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the coffee bar, ensuring exceptional quality and service.
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks.
Train and mentor barista staff on coffee preparation, equipment operation, and customer service.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Manage inventory, including ordering and restocking coffee supplies and equipment.
Develop and implement seasonal beverage menus and promotions.
Engage with customers to provide recommendations and enhance their coffee experience.
Monitor and maintain coffee equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Barista, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, equipment, and coffee bean types.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Barista certification or relevant training is a plus.
